Black Dirt - is not screened or controlled which means it may contain rocks, stickes, trash and other debris.  Black soil is appropriate to use when building a solid clay-based soil around a berm or house foundation.  A typical tandem truck load is 10 cubic yards.

Fill Dirt – is an excavated product containing other materials including: rock, roots, stickes, trash and some debris.  It is a low-cost option when filling a hole and is appropriate to place around a house foundation or at the base of a berm. A typical tandem truck load is 10 cubic yards.

Select Fill - is a clay-based excavated product that packs well.  This dirt has some rocks present but is generally composed of clay and or silty sand; and is appropriate for filling holes or a base for other materials, around a house foundation or berm. A typical tandem truck load is 10 cubic yards.
